Steel Ivory is a pop country duo composed of singer-songwriters, Kayleigh DeLozier and Kristin Denton. The two sisters formed Steel Ivory with only their voices and acoustic guitars playing cover songs around local venues and events in their hometown of Reynoldsburg, Ohio. Growing up music was always around them due to their father being a full time musician. He taught the girls to play the piano at a young age and bought them their first guitars at ages fifteen and seventeen. Kayleigh and Kristin also both participated in their school choirs and performing arts program throughout high school.
After they graduated, the ladies performed wherever they could and began writing their own songs. They completely fell in love with songwriting and decided in August of 2017 to uproot and move to Nashville, Tennessee. As soon as they moved they hit the ground running, spending most of their time in the writing room co-writing songs and playing live shows all over at fairs, festivals, parties, showcases, songwriter rounds, and more.
Kayleigh & Kristin have had many wonderful opportunities arise since their big move. They have performed at legendary venues such as The Bluebird Cafe, Douglas Corner, The Listening Room Cafe, The Commodore Grille, Bobby's Idle Hour and many more. The duo has also had the privilege of sharing the stage with several national acts including Scotty McCreery, Abby Anderson, and Tyler Farr.
Steel Ivory was featured on the Nashville Dreamin' Country Volume 1 Album alongside 10 other talented artists through an online songwriting competition in 2017 and they independently released their current single "Love My Mess" in August 2018. "Love My Mess" placed as a semi-finalist in the International Songwriting Competition & finalist in the U.S.A Songwriting Competition this past year. They have also been listed on Nashville Songwriters Association International as "Ones to Watch" & have had songs considered for their Publisher Luncheon. The girls plan to release new music & tour in Spring of 2019.
